2 injured, 1 killed in multi-vehicle car accident

Law enforcement authorities in New York are currently in the process of investigating a multi-vehicle crash that left two people injured and the driver believed responsible dead. This event occurred on Thursday, April 2, in Queens. The surviving victims of this car accident may be entitled to seek compensation for their losses through legal means.

According to reports, at approximately 5:35 a.m., the driver of a Lexus sedan — a 45-year-old male — was allegedly speeding westbound on Jamaica Avenue when he hit a car traveling through the intersection at Van Wyck Expressway Service Road. After colliding with this vehicle, he kept going, hit a van and then crashed into a storefront located on 134th St. This individual suffered critical injuries and was transported for medical care, but he ultimately died.

The surviving victims — a 35-year-old male and a 55-year-old female — were also injured in the wreck. Both were taken to Jamaica Hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries is unknown; however, they were said to be in stable condition when they left the accident scene.
