Fatal accident in Manhattan claims a life

A single-vehicle car crash in Manhattan at the end of May resulted the death of one individual. The driver of the automobile has since been arrested and charged with vehicular manslaughter. Along with the criminal charges that this individual is facing for this fatal accident, he may also face legal claims in civil court by the victim’s family if they choose to seek compensation for their loved one’s untimely death.

It was recently reported that a 32-year-old male was arrested for his role in a fatal auto collision. According to reports, the crash occurred May 31, near 54th Street. The driver is said to have lost control of his vehicle and struck a fire hydrant. A passenger in his car — a 33-year-old male — was critically injured in the wreck. He was transported to an area hospital where he was then pronounced dead.

Police are still in the process of investigating this incident. They are trying to determine what factors may contributed to the accident. At this time, no other details have been released regarding this event.
